Wesley Chapel UMC Fairfield

Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world

Posted by on Jun 13, 2020

On June 6, with the help of our friends and neighbors, Wesley Chapel delivered 4,389 servings of food to 13 families, comprised of of 74 adults and children!

The next food distribution is scheduled for July 11. Cammi Bittner was able to score a GREAT price for pork butts! Most likely, we’ll be purchasing sauerkraut and instant mashed potatoes too. Your gifts of other suggested non-perishables will supplement this meal:

Canned fruit (preferably in own juice) or vegetables
Cereal (the kids LOVE the individual variety packs)
100% juices
Peanut butter/Jelly
Snack crackers
Soups/Ramen noodles
Canned meats (tuna/chicken/ham)
Microwave popcorn
Mac & cheese
Toilet paper
Paper towels
Lysol spray
Clorox wipes (if you can find them)

Items may be left between the church doors (654 Old Waynesboro Road, Fairfield PA 17320) throughout the week. Please contact Missy Miller by text or calling 717.3221.0169 if you drop off items. Or, you may bring them to our fellowship hall between 10 and 11 AM on July 11 and/or August 8. Please wear a face covering and observe physical distancing recommendations. Thank you!
