PACKING SCHEDULE FOR RUTH’S HARVEST—For each TUESDAY packing, we will meet at Sites’ Mini-Storage (47 Brent Road, Fairfield) at 6:30 PM on January 12, February 9, March 2 & May 4. We must limit ourselves to 6 persons in Ruth’s Harvest’s pantry. We may need to rotate our service. Thank you for your understanding. Today was the final day to collect monies for the Harvest Home Offering for World Hunger. This offering helps to fund over 40 food ministries all over the world and our summer food program locally. 

Other Outreach  Opportunities Include: 
1) Collecting new socks to be distributed at Christmas;
2) Collecting funds to support a summer family for Christmas
3) Collecting food for Ruth’s Harvest: individual -sized packages of Ramen Noodles, Chicken-To-Go, Mac and Cheese, Cereal, Peanut Butter-To-Go, Animal Crackers, Carrots, Oatmeal, Pears and Pop Tarts. You can drop off items between our church doors, at our worship in the hall, or at the Carroll Valley Borough Office in a box as you go in the front doors.
4) Collecting food items and cash for the Blue Ridge Help Hotline (utility assistance and food pantry).

Another community opportunity: Fairfield Food Pantry is hosting a winter scarves, hats and gloves collection for the December 20 Food Pantry pick-up. You can give donations to Cammi Bittner or drop them off inside the back door of the Fairfield Mennonite Church, 201 West Main St., Fairfield. The goal is 225 scarves—one for each person.
