Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world

Health Ministries

Caring for Body, Mind and Spirit

During the Covid-19 health crises, our Outreach and Health Ministries Teams made regular contact with friends and neighbors. If you have a need, please be sure to visit our Facebook page to get our latest info, Pastor Kim’s message or private message your concerns.

The work of the Health Ministries Team has not stopped. A Re-Opening Team, comprised of leaders in the areas of finance, lay leadership and health and Pastor Kim, met throughout the pandemic; working hard to help us safely return to worship in the sanctuary on June 6. Due to this care, Wesley Chapel experienced zero congregational spread of Covid-19!

Other work of the Health Ministries Team has not stopped. Here’s a just sampling of Becky Buffington’s service: hand sewn cloth face masks to help prolong the life of health care workers and their medical protection devices.

Our charge-wide Health Ministries team cares for and educates our communities about health issues. In all 3 of the Summer Food deliveries, we included health-related literature of all kinds.

The Health Ministries team is also active in the community, providing resources and education for drug use awareness, nutrition and emergency preparedness at local events.
